What software are you using to create Mods for Oblivion?

I tried searching, but to no avail, for what software those here are using for creating all of your mods. I'm sure something exists, but in the meantime

what software are you using for creating models?

what are typical limits (specific to oblivion) of common items, boots, dagger, etc.

what software is being used for creating skins?

Is there a good set of tutorials for designing things specific to this world?

is there a list of forbidden things in this world (for example, no one 500 years ago would have had black clothing, the cost for black die was astronomical) anything similar in the game culture here?

and yes I'm aware anything is possible, but not always preferred.

Thanks for taking the time to respond and probably point me to the other 700 topics that ask the same thing.

anyone still using blender?

1) Blender (free, I'm using it) or 3D max (not free)

2) None at all.

3) Mostly photoshop or the gimp, even paint would work

4) yes

5) Oversized swords?

Thought I'd typed this already, but it's missing, so....

Thanks for the link to the other site that does list the builder. I'd heard of it, but was specifically hunting for recommendations from this site.

Glad to hear blender is still around. Downloading it and a few libraries to catch back up. Should be interesting to see what's been added since it '02.

Hadn't heard of gimp. might have to check it out. Have PSP at the house with 2-300 plugins, so there should be something that will take it where i want to go.

Have a a full copy of mechanical desktop'07 and inventor, just need to figure out how to translate that into somethign that can be used by blender. Should be similar to 3dmax, just a few different toolbars.

Thanks again for the point in the right direction.
