Gamerbird
I had the sims bustin out on PS2 and it was rather boring due to the fact it lacked multistories and you could only have three familys. I also have the sims 2 on my PSP and its alright but also lacks the multistories.
Vagrant0
Played for awhile, modded for awhile. Got bored. I mean, once you've made a family with a family tree that doesn't fork (including parents married to grandchildren), hired the grim reaper as a maid, sent children to work, and about a dozen other equally questionable things, what else is there? Even as far as modding goes. And it just seemed to be too much like a high tech doll house. And true to that, when you aren't busy making someone have 50+ intimate friends, you're busy torturing them in any way imaginable. And the fact that it's so common/easy to do it doesn't reflect too well on the rest of society. Byt yeah, without mods, the Sims just plain sucks. doomjockey
I played Sims when it first débuted and liked it, but it's a bit of a fad game. After a week or two I'd already ditched it or sold it or something. I'd had infinitely more fun with earlier Sim-titles (City, Earth, Ant) which might have factored into Sims's relatively short period of time gracing my hard drive. After watching five pre-teen girls purchase Sims 2 at the local game store, I figured the franchise as a whole was no longer my cup of tea. Kresselack
I was obsessed with the old one. I quit playing The Sims 2 once it became a "female's" game. You know with the glamour, fashion, clothes etc. Just look at the modding site. The old one had its humorous moments and was original at the time. DirTek
I'll be honest. I like playing The Sims 2. I think it's a cool game, and I play it because I like games that give you a lot of choices about how you like to look, what you want to be...FREEDOM TO CHOOSE :whistling: :D. I am gonna reinstall it this week (I think) since I got the last add-on last week. Cheers  Maafiaman

WrathOfDeadguy
Tried Sims a while ago and just wasn't into it. I haven't really gotten into a Sim game since the SimCity2000/SimTower era. Anybody remember SimCopter? Being able to import your Sim2k cities and fly around in them... and blow the ever-loving $#&% outta them if you knew the Apache cheat... :D
