Background Music

When I played Oblivion, I tried to eliminate the background music by deleting those files but then the game somehow pulled the music from the other folders. Is it possible to eliminate the backgroud music from some folder without the game loading from others? To me, some music are simply annoying and I would like to cut them off. Thanks for any help.

Why not simple set the music slider to zero in the audio settings?

I'm sorry not explaining myself, I don't want to eliminate all music, just some of the ones that annoys me.

I just wanna stroke faifh, baby Khajit?

Hanker I remember the same thing when UT3 came out, everyone wanted the battle tuneage and hated the ambient ones. Gl

I think the tunes are reactive to whats happening in game?

I was checking the Oblivion Nexus and found a file called "Silent Audio Track", by Domhall7. This file adds a silent track in the background music folder, actually you can add several tracks to make silence longer. It does not eliminate the music from the game but gives you a breather from it. I wonder if there is such thing for Skyrim?
