Fallout Wanders Edition question + look at my load order! :D

So I've been considering Fallout Wanderers Edition, because it looks like it includes a lot of things that I would like. However, some of the things it does appear similar to what some of the mods I already have do. I have a strange suspicion that FWE actually includes some of these other mods, and I'm wondering if this is the case. One example is Triage, which the FWE description mentions by name. So I'm wondering how many of my mods would actually be included with an install of FWE. It seems to me that it would be much better to have 1 mod active that includes all these effects, instead of 20 seperate mods.

 

Also, I encountered a strange glitch recently. When I enter the Super Duper Mart the game slows to an absoloute crawl, and the screen fills up with a crazy mesh of rust brown polygons; through holes in the polygons I can see what appears to be the normal interior of the super duper mart... very confusing. Once this happens, I can't do anything in game, and I have to force the game to quit with the task manager. Otherwise, as far as I am aware, everything else is functional.

 

SO, here is my load order. Please point out which of these mods are (a) replaced with similar effects in FEW, or, (b) included in FWE with little to no alteration. Also, if you see any glaring screw ups I may have made, point those out too. I use FOMM, BOSS, and FO3Edit, creating a new merged patch and running FO3MasterUpdate anytime I change anything in the data folder.

You have Animated Prostitution and Wasteland Player installed--get rid of one of them; the two together produces a fatal error that halts the movement of time in-game.

 

EVE, if I remember correctly, is integrated into FWE. You also have two of MMM's plugins without MMM itself installed, so I'd get rid of those as well.

Thank you for pointing out the AP/WP conflict. If I get that error, now I'll know why :thumbsup: Though I believe there is a compatability esp for WP that comes with AP, not sure.

Either replace them with that mod, or put them both as low as possible in your load order. Even behind your merged patch. And James Invisible wall bugs remove V3.esp should never, ever be master-updated.

I was wondering about those error fix ones. By "behind" the merged patch, do you mean after it? Also, how do I avoid master updating it when I do master updates with FO3?

 

I will move the lighting mods further down... maybe that's why they're doing weird things with my pipboy light.

Yes. After, below, whatever you want to call it. This also means then when you make a new merged patch, you should not include them in it.

Disable them in FoMM before running masterupdate, then re-enable them again afterwards. Since you've already masterupdated them however, you'll need to replace them with unaltered versions.

Wasteland Gigolo, a similar mod, is compatible with it. Wasteland Player is not.

With a mod list that long, i'm sure a lot of them are incorporated into FWE, or even conflict with FWE. Here is the link to the FWE compatability list:

FWE is the kind of total overhaul that is best to load before you even start playing, then add additional mods later. It was the first mod i installed, and only 1 of 2 installed until I reached about level 12 or so (the other was DarnUI).
