xleileix
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I want to know- is there a console command or mod that can adjust the speed at which my character runs and walks? I find when doing escorts or being escorted that if I walk like the NPC, they walk much faster than me and then "wait" for me to catch up....making the escort even slower. But if I run, I run 10 yards ahead of them and then I have to wait for them to catch up. Another reason I'd like to be able to adjust this is for combat, although fast movement in combat is good if your enemy is far away and you can't attack from range, for close-range I often find that my fast sprint causes me to aim badly. If anyone knows anything, I thank you!
Sunnie
Yes, there is. open console and enter:player.setav speedmult 130close consoletap the sneak mode and move a foot then go out of sneak mode. Save game. From now on, you will walk as fast as most NPCs walk, and run a bit faster than normal. A note on the speedmult value: 100 is default. SineWaveDrox
For some reason, when I used the setav command to alter speedmult, it reset after I loaded a save. I don't know if this was just some weird thing that was only effecting a couple of my characters, but I had better luck using the forceav command. However, I do not know what the difference between these commands is, or if the use of forceav has any kinds of detrimental effects on gameplay. Also remains on reload {best}. forceav = cannot be reset {avoid as much as possible}. tc.
