eend123
Title says it all. Since I installed update 4 I can hardly move the mouse on the Y-axis. Everything is fine, X-axis OK, around 30fps, but it's nearly impossible to watch up and down. I tried everything I found so far. Increasing mouse speed in the .ini, you name it. Last thing I found was to disable V-sync but I can't find how to do that... Any ideas... somebody? It's really gamebreaking. maboru
Not much consolation but I had the same issue when I updated to the latest patch too and attempted all the usual fixes to no avail. I didn't look into it any further though because it was just easier to copy back my original 1.1 version and continue to play the game. ( First rule of Beth/Steam open world gaming : Always go to offline mode after you enter your product key at installation then copy your game folder to a safe location and don't go back online for patches until you see how they're working out. That way, when you do patch, if you find you're one of people that encounter problems it's a simple copy/paste to regain your sanity!)

eend123
which version of the game, steam. retail or what ? Retail. By the way, the problem only occurs in-game. UI is just fine. -edit again- PROBLEM SOLVED. I deleted skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini. Next startup the games creates new .ini's and everything is back to normal. Dunno what exactly caused the problem but it's solved and that's what counts. Tnx for trying to help! Edited January 14, 2012 by eend123
