iXenite
Infinite loading screens come from memory running out, a broken save game, or the game is loading too much texture and object data for your system. Safety Load stops the game from loading broken save games and stops the memory allocation error that creates an infinite loading screen. It doesn't stop the texture/object data issue though. How many graphics mods are you running? Your GPU isn't a massive powerhouse, you should take it easy when it comes to using graphics mods.

Apart from some body mods, the only real graphical mods I can think of are the Skyrim HD 2K Textures thingy, and the Static Mesh Improvements Mod. I've now uninstalled both, and toned the graphic settings down. Still having infinite loading xS
iXenite
Does it also happen when making a 100% brand new character? If so - I'll have to take a closer look at your load order and see what is slowing everything down.

As I've only just installed Skyrim on this laptop, I've had no other saves to cling to.

There's only two small issues which I'm currently getting: 1) in some small rooms I'm getting a small 'cut' (for lack of a better term) across the screen, which I'm guessing is my graphics being strained; 2) Some of the extra mod-introduced options when making characters are missing, such as body tattoos and height. However! I've not installed any weapon or armour specific mods yet, as it's one of these that seems to be the problem. I could install them one by one, to try identify which is causing the issue, but previously I found that once the problem had developed, uninstalling these mods did not reverse the problem. I'd rather not have to go through a slow, long arduous process, only to have to do another clean install. Below are the mods I'd like to install, is there anything that sticks out as being potentially problematic? The Black Sacrament Armor packBosmer Armor PackContractor and Mavari ArmorsDaedric Reaper ArmorDemon Hunter Armor Dragon Knight ArmorImmersive ArmorsKnight of Thorns Armor and SpearLustmord Vampire ArmorNordic Ranger OutfitPerfect LegionnaireScarlet Dawn ArmorWarmonger Armory Cloaks of SkyrimFace Masks of SkyrimMage BackpackWitcher 2 - Eilhart Dress Heavy ArmoryImmersive WeaponsIsilmeriel LOTR WeaponsJaySus SwordsSword of the Ancient Tongues Artifacts - The Breton Paladin P.S. FatBoyKyle
Problems are resolved! Only one I have now is tearing - God damn it! xD Seems that I was having problems with these mods:Perfect LegionnaireImmersive Armors Having either installed was causing the crashing. Don't know why, and it's annoying because they're mods I like. But oh well.
iXenite
Screen tearing is usually caused when you're playing at a framerate higher than the refresh rate of your monitor. Try forcing Vsync in your graphics cards control panel. Were you using the Vanilla start when you crashed? If so - that is why those mods caused the crashing. You need to enable those mods usually after you have completed the tutorial and at least made it to Riverwood. At least that's how it is with Immersive Armors in my past experience. The dynamic script that runs at the start to setup the armors is why it causes crashing during the Vanilla intro.
