Carah
I know I'm breaking one of the Forum Commandments, but it's time to bring this topic up, again. I have noticed lately that a vast number of the screenies posted seem to be minor variations of the same thing....naked and nearly naked shots of the stock poses. The only difference is the background and the colour of the character's hair. I find little enjoyment lately looking in the Image Share section because it's becoming monotonous and boring. It would be so nice if more people showed some creativity more often. :thanks:

MalachiDelacot
Luckily, since the rating system has changed (can only say you like a shot) the "image wars" are pretty much gone.I started doing my screenies in hopes to counter-balance some of the...stuff there. Projetx
I only know that pictures circulate alot faster than before, I don't even reach 100 views and some only got 20. Also less peoples bother to look at it now. Had more success on the fallout side at least.
Skolhamarr
it is what it is... Females or males wearing little not clothes will win every time to masses. There are a few, I have try to come up with more originality when I post images. an original image not just what is post as the image, the details of the image. Arch Angel Its also the time of day when the image is post, otherwise it will be bared under a ton of that. You have to weed thought them to get to note worthy image. Because you occasionally find a right little gems, like this nice screenie and images that are right on the money, like this one which I'm STILL laughing at. But the amount of unnecessary nudity in there is annoying, yeah. Oh, and I don't think your post counts as necro'ing. A still relevant thread, and a relevant post :)
myrmaad
And I'm not crazy about either of those at all. I don't like photoshopped screenshots particularly, and think they should be categorized differently. Many of the humor ones are good, but I find the backlash against pretty characters very tired and more than a little mean-spirited, derisive, and surprisingly revealing. Jealousy is not ok, it's unattractive, and it's petty. Aiming it at pixels rather than people just emphasizes the narrow and vulgar spirit which chooses to pass judgment that way. It reminds me of bullying. I see that the image author was making a joke, probably didn't mean it to be taken that way, but that just shows me what a sick society we live in, where it's acceptable to put people or pixels down for their appearance one way or another, and one can make a joke without even thinking about what that means for everyone else in the whole society, you're damned if you're ugly, you're damned if you're pretty, and if you have the wit to make fun of someone else maybe they won't come after you. stormdrooper1
I grow weary of the image share section, I will continue to post any shots I take but I flat out refuse to take any nude shots as I see absolutely no point to them unless they are somewhat artistically done which I have mentioned in another thread that was recently made. I have kept my opinions to myself most of the time as I have seen the amount of crap that starts after someone voices such an opinion. Yes, I am whining but it slightly annoys me that when a shot of a beautiful landscape is posted and it gets, say 15 views and the next one of a naked woman standing in a field with no effort taken what so ever to get a good capture angle or get good lighting etc gets 100 odd views. I honestly find it disgusting. I will continue to upload my aesthetic pictures as there are some who do appreciate them but I really wish people would not select "Aesthetics" for their pictures of women, I class a picture centered around a woman with abnormally large breasts with maybe a pretty background as a POSE picture. Also, I despise seeing screenshots of a computerised woman bouncing on a computerised man's todger. There are sites for this, I hope this is not going to become one of them.
