slatibardfast
Hi guys, I've started to gt this problem where when i put a new esp file into my data folder, and then i startup my game, it will be in the data files section, and when i click it it will be selected. i then press ok, but then if i go back to data files it is not selected.other data files that were there previously are already activated, but i can't turn off as it does the same thing to them.I have also tried to re-install it (including completely deleting everything to do with skyrim eg saves, the still existing skyrim folder in steam after you delete it)when i re-installed it and then put my mods back in, the mods which were active before become automatically active again, and the mods that were inactive stay inactive, and i cannot get them to work. If there is any way to fix this i would very much appreciate it, really wanna get this thu'um mic and a few other mods i downloaded a try. A big thank you to whoever can fix this for me. maboru
You could try using this - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1200 Or this - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/content/modmanager/ - the official Nexus Mod Manager.
slatibardfast
Do you think that this might be the only solution to my problem?
maboru
I'm not sure it's the only solution but it is the best solution. As you add more esp mods you need to be able to sort their positions to prevent mod conflicts and that is something that games Data menu makes very difficult. Mod Sort Order is best accomplished with BOSS - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6 - and the Boss User List Manager - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=311 - although they're not quite as important now as they will be after the CK is released. There is a reasonably slight learning curve involved with NMM but it will be well worth it to you in the end. For now. if you prefer, you can use the first link above instead as it is perhaps simpler.
slatibardfast
Well, dunno if i will end up doing it, will continue to search for other solutions, but i thank you a lot for taking the time to help me out with it :) (who knows, it might be my only solution)
