Error 51 and Application load error

Today when I tried to launch Skyrim, I got a popup saying "Application load error 3:0000065432". I was launching it with "SBW.exe", the Simple Borderless Window (also using SKSE). I then tried launching it through both SkyrimLauncher.exe and TESV.exe, both of which yielded the result "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim failed to start (error code 51)." in a Steam popup. I researched online a bit, deleted and replaced (through Steam) SkyrimLauncher.exe, TESV.exe, and the ClientRegistry.blob in the main Steam folder, but nothing changed. I also tried deleting the "My Games\Skyrim" folder, which Steam replaced but still wouldn't launch the game. I have looked just about everywhere, and haven't found anything remotely helpful, and have done everything short of reinstalling the game because I don't want to have to track down all my mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Forgot to say that it had been working fine just yesterday, as it had since launch. Also, Script Dragon is installed, if that makes a difference.

When a failure to load problem appears suddenly and is not connected to game file corruption then it's often do to driver corruption. Try doing a clean sweep and reinstall of your video driver first then your audio driver followed by your gaming device drivers (if you use any.) You can also try updating or reinstalling your Bios and chipset drivers.

You may wish to first disable all of your mods and reinstall them one at a time in case one of them became corrupted, starting with ENB if you use it.

Doesn't make sense that it's a driver problem, other games (EverQuest II) run perfectly fine, not sure how I could disable mods, won't even show me the laucher with the Data Files option, should I just move the .esps?

Every game tasks a computer system in different ways. Bethesda open world games are some of the hardest on hardware and can push rigs to their limits. This often leads to driver corruption thus is often corrected by wiping old drivers and either reinstalling them or installing updated drivers.

Without using a mod organizer/installer you can disable mods up to a point by simply moving the esps out of the data folder and into a 'holding' folder. However, this will not remove any texture, mesh, ini changes, or additional files that the individual mod may have installed. The individual mod's page or Readme file should include instructions for removing them completely though. This can be an arduous process for anyone not comfortable with computer file structures and is the reason modders have developed mod organizer/installers that will automatically take care of all the grunt work themselves. The mod manager that comes most highly recommended is Nexus Mod Manager and is something you should seriously consider using in the future to make your gaming life less complicated.. -

So for now go ahead and clean sweep and reinstall your video drivers first as that's easier than manually disabling mods and if that doesn't help then either manually disable your mods or delete your My Documents/ My Games/Skyrim folder (after moving your save games to a sage location), uninstall then and reinstall the game.

Ok, I reinstalled the drivers and no luck, I disabled the mods by renaming the Data folder and moving all the vanilla files into a new Data folder, which also didn't work, going to try and reinstall now.

Im also having the error code 51 issue I know for a fact that its nothing to do with sys drivers a dogy install or anything at all to do with skyrim Im not gonna say how I know but Ill leave you to work that out ;) its a really pretty game :D. I do know it is a steam related issue I have uninstalled steam and reinstalled the game after removing all registry entries then upon re-installation I get the error code 51 again I have tried everything that I could find to resolve the issue I have been in contact with steam customer support on, well I loose track of the amount of emails I have sent and requests for some kind of effective customer support all advise from the steam customer support so far has not resolved my issue at all the last thing I can think of is to reinstall windows (aye its that bad) I have seriously exhausted all options from the trouble shooting guides to things Ive found after extensive google searches Im currently relocating 2tb of data before I can do a system re-installation which is a bit of a pain in the posterior due to having to re-install 3ds max photoshop and a whole other list of software I use on a regular basis the issue is with the steam client Id put money on it checking cache and so on will probably not solve the issue if I find an effective fix without re-installing windows Ill let you know.
