ndejo Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) I think this is a must-have mod, and I'm kinda shocked no one has made it yet to be honest. It's extraordinarily difficult to make any bunkers in the style of the Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout 1, Fallout 2, Fallout: Tactics and Fallout: New Vegas with the limitations of the spawn menu. Sure homemaker has added some bunker additions, etc. But I'm looking for almost an exact replica of the Lost Hills Bunker from Fallout 1. Something with an above ground elevator down to a 2-4 story underground base with multiple levels that can be built within however you see fit. (Kind of like Vault 88 from the DLC). I know there's an underground bunker mod that adds a hatch to a settlement, but it's extremely small and doesn't make for much of a "base." Between a "true" bunker mod and more items on the spawn list such as: consoles, computers, BOS insignias, Circular "fan" doors, and those brown stained conduit-looking concrete walls. montky Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Yeah! thanks for sharing a great thread!Yup! this is something greekrage and a lot of folks are working on.I agree entirely - super bunkers are noticeably missing in FO4, Institute notwithstanding.K21b, Offshore Poseidon OilRig, Natick Poseidon Base Enclave.the large black building near Red Rocket South Boston,Nahant Oceanographic society, that giant pipe in the middle of boston bay, etc. Personally,I envisage V111 being a lot like Lost Hills in Maxson.only, BoS has learned from Maxson, and has a lot of civilians near the topside,in part, as a meatshield ('keep your enemies closer' BoS elder idea), and in part, to show good faith... V111 is connected to under-sanctuary, under-RedRocket as well,forming a concealed super-bunker.V111 and Stanislaus Braun's vault in FO3 are connected...the citizens of V111 are likely the extra persons in Tranquility Lane, and there may have been tranquility loungers in V111...at some point, The Memory Den acquired tranquility loungers from somewhere... its a long story, the Enclave couldnt get the V111 door open,they were under instructions not to harm the contents of the vault and use extreme caution...so they tried to tunnel to where they assumed V111 would have by then expanded to.complications arose, leading to a lengthy delay in finding V111... Method:using "any door any where","ploppable houses" "BoS decorations" by darthwayne,"v111 liveable settlement", "red rocket settlements mod""basement living" and "bunker interior new lands mod"or "build your own vault" mod + concrete world map...the cargo elevator at Red Rocket connects to "under-red-rocket" Red Rocket Spa and Resort is a scrap-city that emerged to eclipse Sanctuary.it has a paddling pool with daily 'red rocket "fountain shower" at noon,several traders, and is an 11 story scrap-scraper built around the former garage above ground.The garage is a no-go zone. beneath the shipping containers that no-one is allowed near and which there is nothing in,below ground is a 5 or so level bunker,formerly an Enclave outpost, built into the existing garage and workshop that was on-site. this is a two story garage, which connects to "access tunnel redrocket - undersancturary"and to "red rocket dump cave". It is also possible to connectthe Red Rocket Dump Cave to the Under-Concord Municipal Access. these under tunnels go to a 4 way undertunnel, which branches to Sanctuary prepper basement,that house has become a BoS law enforcement and citizen checkpoint no-go zone.creekbed sewer egress, and V111 or back to red rocket.V111 outer perimeter/sub basement is partially breached from where the enclave got to.from the size of the cavern, Vault Tec did leave enough equipment and 'room to move' for V111, though it would appearthe Vault did not function entirely to plan. This may have been part of the Enclave's decision torelinquish their involvement in chasing whatever was in V111.This connects to the larger V111 area.
