Sibllings

Hi folks!

I have a few questions for everybody.

a) Do you have brothers or sisters? (Then, say the number, your age and the age of them)

b) How is your relationship?

c) Do you think that siblings are useful for only children? Why or why not?

a) In my case, I have a brother and a sister. They are twins and they are nine years old. So, I am the elder daughter and they born when I was eight years old.

b) Our relationship... In the beginning it was so difficult. I was the only daughter, the only granddaughter, the only niece. When they born I was so jealous because my family was "ignoring" me (they didn't ignore me, it was my puerile feeling) and for six or seven months I had a little "depression". Little by little I noticed that my family loved me like when I was alone, and I was very important to my parents. Nowadays, I'm very proud of my siblings, they are my sweeties ;D . I love them a lot. It's always nice to arrive home and listen how they run through the flat for kissing me and ask me about my day, or helping them with homework.

c) I think that siblings are very useful for children in general because they learn to share and some abilities like emphaty or respect.

A)I have two sisters. My older sister is 22 and my younger sister is 18. I'm 19.

B) We're pretty close even though there was alot of tension when we were younger.

C) I don't honestly know. I was never an only child so I don't really have an informed opinion about it.

A) I have two sisters at age of 21 and 13. I turn to 19 next weekend.

B) Only lately we have had pretty close relationships but for most of the time it haven't been so.

C) Cannot say anything about that. My childhood has been such a cliche as I had the worse stepfather ever. So much mental violence that only thing I learned was to hate everything and everybody, even my mom. Well, I'm not going to depths into it but fortunately it's all over and history..

Wow...13 children!? That's a lot...

a. I have one sister who just turned 16.

b. From what everyone else has said, I'm reversed. When we were younger, both my sister and I were best of friends. However, around the time I entered middle school, we started splitting apart, and, by, the time I got into high school, we were bitter enemies. I honestly have no idea what happened or why we split like that. Now, though, things are better. We're nowhere near what we were before, and I suspect we will never get back there. We pretty much leave each other a lone with minimal contact which is what I'm assuming we'll be like for the rest of our lives.

c. What are siblings good for? Shifting blame, especially when I'm the proverbial 'good kid' and she's the proverbial 'bad kid'. Also, my mom wants grandchildren, but I'm not so keen on that idea. I hate kids, all kids, mostly the younger ones, but I still hate the teens, too. I can't wait for these next six months and five days to be up. Then I'll be 18, so I can say children are terrible without being a hypocrite. So, anyways, siblings are good for providing the grandkids I don't want.

Now, if they could find a way to make people born age 20 or so, that would solve a lot of problems! It seems people get better as they get older. Babies suck; they're the worst. Toddlers at least don't cry as much, but still sh*t themselves and run around causing havok. Grade schoolers have some small grasp of responsibility and don't do the same things toddlers do but are still stupid beyond belief. Teens think they're better, but are still stupid and also go through a 'rebelious' stage which is just annoying. I think 28-30 is perfect, smart[er] and wise[r] but not ugly and wrinkly. OOO! what would be even better is the brain of a 40 year old in the body of a 20 year old! That would be nice.

...Sorry, I seemed to have gotten onto a soap box. I'll step off of it now.

a) I have one sister, 11 and I'm fourteen.

b) As long as our interests are the same in action, we'll get along. Other wise, were constantly trying to kill each other.

c) Siblings are nice when you need moral support [sometimes] and terrible otherwise.

A) One sister, twelve. I'm 15.

B) Great. We have never been in a serious fight. Probably due to events which happened in the past which I will not discuss here.

C) A sympathetic ear, friendship, lab rats, and, as Ninja said, shifting the blame.

A) I have two little brothers, one step brother, and one stepsister. i am 18, next is 16, stepbrother is 11 or something, next bro is 9. my stepsister is older than me by a year.

B) i have a pretty good relationship with my brothers, but i hardly ever see, or talk to my stepsister seeing as how she lives in montana. I used to have a bad relationship with my little brothers until about a year ago, when i moved away from them. after that, everything just seemed to be better between us.

C) of course they are useful, for one reason as ninjalord stated, to shift the blame. i use them for many other things though too, such as picking up chicks (my 9 year old brother works quite well for this.) Other things, like having someone to vent to.
