Mod items invisible

Ive recently tried to add a couple weapon, armor, and clothing mods. Im using NNM and everything seems to work fine up untill I try to equip or craft the items. They show up as equipable and craftable but there are invisible. I uninstalled skyrim and reinstalled all my old mods still work but any new ones that add things into the game still show up invisible. any ideas whats going on?

I am having the same problem with armor I created in the Creation Kit. I selected a pre existing armor whose model I wanted to use. Edited it, changed the id, and saved the new form as a new item. Yet when I equipped the armor I appear naked. I also saw a post on the issue in an earlier search, but I can't find it again.
