Is perfectionism a good or bad trait for a modder?

Most program designers are perfectionists and for the most part would never complete a project in a timely manner.

This is why there is always a team leader. He/she is the one that puts limits on sub parts of the project. Most the time the

team members only work on sub parts of the project not knowing the overall design. This keeps that perfectionist in check

and makes it so the project can be completed in a timely manner. You do your part and keep moving, someone else adds

their part and so on. Then one person checks everything knowing the overall design and putting the parts together.

This is how game companies work and it works well as they crank out game after game. Other games are made by smaller teams

or in some cases one person, these types of teams take much longer to create a finished project.
