What is the big fuss over having the official Ck

I give it less than a month after CK release before you have the entire character creation system re-done. While you may not see attributes(STR, DEX, WILL), I guarantee you there will be classes(probably even creating your own). Don't forget complete new quests and other such things that simply aren't possible yet and you can easily see what the fuss is about.

I am not a modder myself but I allready ventured into the CK of Oblivion and GECK of Fallout 3 myself a bit (mainly to "adjust" some mods to my personal tastes...nothing worth publishing though :) ).

 

(some) Mods without CK are, as is obvious, possible but things that would be a simple piece of cake with CK turn out to be a hassle without. So CK not only will allow more things to be modded but also will make modding a lot "easier".

 

CK will open the doors for many mod ideas that right now cant be realized partially or at all.

 

Bottom line, while until now you had to "pimp" your Car with sticks and stones, with CK you will get a full, proper Toolset.
