kyle7885
I am a fan of the settlement system. But one of the problems that I have with the settlement system is that there are no random NPCs that travel to my settlements just to visit. Or maybe they're passing through on their way to Diamond City and need a place to stay. I have these thriving towns with tons of shops but no one but Trashcan Carla comes to visit. And only visits Sanctuary. It breaks immersion. How do these shops stay in business with just the trade within the settlements or with the Sole Survivor? I would like to see a mod that creates randomly generated NPCs that visit my settlements and engage in trade, conversation and basically act as if they are actually visiting. Maybe caps could be generated based on the # of travelers per shop per day, etc. A possible future expansion to this mod could be hotel features. So you could either create or assign a bed that generates caps if it's occupied by a traveler. To expand it even further; maybe an alternative measurement of traveler happiness that operates along side the basic settlement happiness. Let me know what people think? Vormina
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16987/? The NPC's in this visit my settlements, sometimes use workbenches. As far as trade they might visit the bar/restaurant, I haven't noticed, but I do know that NPC's, including your own settlers, will not use any of the other shops ( clinic, trader, etc. ) vanilla or modded, not sure why Bethesda only scripted them for the bar and food.
