gavinjb
Hi, Can anyone help explain to me what the differences are between ENB's and ReShaders and what advantages one has over the other, I am currently using ClearView and find it works fairly well. I have tried ENB's with Original Skyrim in the past and had issues (bottom half the screen was black while the other half was fine) so before I try again I would like to understand what benefits they would give me (if any). Also does anyone know if there is a mod for SE that can add more lights inside buildings as I have found with ReShaders some buildings are a bit too dark and I would imagine I would have the same issue with ENB's (from my limited understanding) Thanks,
Moksha8088
Sometimes you have to look at the screenshots for every mod available. I agree with you that I do not like things too dark. Basically, I just want the haze removed, the color saturation punched up a bit, items sharpened and no DoF at all. That is a hard combo to find. Sometimes it is hard for preset makers to refrain from adding DoF and making things grainy and drab. You see a feature and you want to add it. I've been using a ReShade called Sharp and Furious that is no longer even listed. Yikes! Adding the Imaginator on top of your ENB or ReShade can help you customize things even further. jones177
With my computer Reshade = a 7 to 10 frames per second drop. ENB is a 30 to 40 fps drop. I will need a much more powerful GPU than the GTX 1080 I own to run ENB at the resolution I play at. Dropping the resolution is not an option. With my rig I could play the old game at 60 fps with ENB. With this game I am in the 30s. Later
gavinjb
Thanks for the help, I did try an ENB (SkyrimSE Re-Engaged) and even on the best performance config the FPS was too low for my system (i7 6700k, GTX 1060, 32GB Ram), so have gone for a Re-Shader (ClearView) which while not as good as an ENB is much better than Vanilla and FPS has stayed around 60+ while with ENB it was dropping as low as 20!
