DudeitzChronic
Hi. I've played a lot of Skyrim for the first month it was out, and got 126 hours on it. I've done most of the things on two characters that I played through, one was a vampire stealth assassin and the other was a destruction orc warrior. After getting a few cool mods, I started playing again as a high elf mage only, and I'm going to try things like speech and alchemy, which I haven't before. Now what I was thinking would be cool, if after you become essentially the top guy in whatever of the 4 guilds, you can choose 1 to specialize in. Like, you can add more members, that have their own quest lines and they are unique for every guild? And Maybe there will be like a guild continuation quest, like uncovering an operation that was just using the emperor as a puppet, and your dark-brotherhood questing isn't over? Or some more mage items pop up, or the companions turn into a much bigger mercenary group, and things like that. I haven't modded much before, but I'm learning things like Jawa and whatnot. I will try to do this when the CK comes out, but maybe someone more experienced than me should at least revise my work. So what do you guys think? Cool or lame? davekmoody
Yeah, I agree. I do like the guild-idea and its approach pretty much, but after you're on top it's no more fun really. So that might add some more spice to it.
thedemoninside
More quests would definitely be great. I was thinking though, instead of just specializing on one guild, it would be nice if the radiant quests available during and after the guild quest lines were finished had more meaning. For instance, it would be nice if continuing the thieves guild jobs showed a physical increase in the gold/treasure seen in the treasure room. Also in the dark brotherhood, completing nightmother contracts after the quest line is finished would replace victims in the torture room after you get their treasure and kill them. Completing mages guild stuff like the spots that have that magnetic anomaly could maybe improve your skills or the archmage quarters in some way. Companions actually do alright because those quests actually have you getting new powers for werewolf form. Basically it would just be great to have other guilds show some progress like companions do. Just a few ideas... Also it would be cool if you could bring in new members, and equip them, and make them companions etc. If this is too complicated, just make completing radiant quests automatically bring in new members to interact with. I just felt like after completing each guild, i was handed the guild master job without really deserving it, and it got so stale and unfun once those radiant quests where all that was left. JMMcNemo
I felt like that, too... I completed the Mage quest and was handed the reigns of the entire organization in spite of vastly more experienced and qualified people *standing right in front of me*. And, having earned that position, all I seemed to get for my troubles was free run of the building-- no job perks, no raise in pay, no new responsibilities or duties to perform, no respect for my accomplishments... just the key to the executive wash room and time in the gym. When I finished the main quest-- by doing so, saving the *freakin' world*-- nothing changed. I don't know what I expected, but a parade might have been nice. Maybe a quiet little mansion and some acreage near Whiterun. At the very least a pat on the head and a cookie. Nope, not even that much.
hanibalhun
i too agree but it would be even better as you gain guild wrights in more city you should all soo expained the guild in to the sewers of all the city you get influnce in and a tunnel system that joins them so then you do not have to travel over ground to each city thyat also sould work in brotherhood and HQ in each city for companes and mage guild and once you become thane of each city maybe you can choose to become jarl of one too also the chose you make changes the outcome and maybe you could create the other world for all the elder srolls as so many of the citzens talk about there homeland it would be a lot of work for a modder or group of modders but it would expanied the game a lot

The more thieves guild side quests you do the more items appear on the shelves near the guild master's table. There's items at 25, 35, 45, 55, 75, and 125 side jobs done Edited January 18, 2012 by sajuukkhar9000
cppcooper
Black Reach could use some secret entrances/exits connecting cities.
sajuukkhar9000
Black Reach could use some secret entrances/exits connecting cities. it already has 6 entrances 3 directly to the surface and 3 through some Dwmer ruins

BCbrad
Definetly definetly. I agree with all of the above. I almost wonder if these things where not developed to provide some 'end game'. Unfortunetly, I don't want end game. I would have been cool if the Forsworn had a deeper quest line.
