Save Game Files All Corrupted

Hi all,

 

Hopefully someone here can tell me the best to to deal with this issue. I'm at level 30 right now and suddenly I cannot load my save files without it crashing to the desktop. The newest save i can load is from my character at level 16. I have tried completely removing all mods and re installing Skyrim. I have deleted the skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini files and changed my audio settings, but no luck. Does anyone have a solution for this problems or am I just screwed?

I haven't figured out how to resolve this yet, got no help from Bethesda support either.

I had to reinstall and didn't manage to recreate the same configuration of mods, because stupidly the game save records mods details.

I am going to have another go at setting up the mods, if that fails I will wait for the Creation Kit and hopefully that will allow some save file editing.

 

So at this point, if you have the same error, I have been of no use at all.

Maybe someone else has solved this and will see this...

Remove ALL "autosave" saves from your save folder. Heavy modding on one save can also lead to crashes, especially if you used ANY scripting mod and then dropped it. Load order and non plugin mod listing would be helpful. Happy GAming.
