Shayu
I was following a guide on how to install a texture mod on my new copy of skyrim. The guide instructed me to merge the texture folder of the mod with that of the native game, nothing I havn't done before with oblivion and fallout, easy. But when i opened up my data folder what i found was not a set of data folders but Bethesda archive files instead. Did I buy the wrong version of skyrim or somthing? Please I'm very worried. Why aren't my data folders there? Is there a way to fix this?
maboru
You're okay, the game doesn't come with texture and mesh folders but should have a data folder that includes the bsas. You can either add them yourself or they will be automatically added when you drop mods into your data folder.
