Hey modders and modd-ettes. I have a request for those of you with some experience in designing meshes and texture files for Beth games. Project "Atvir Dres" requires the services of a talented 3D artist to turn our concept art into in-game items (our current needs call for one set of custom armour and two custom weapons). The ideal candidate will:

-Have a working knowledge of nifskope, Blender/Maya/3dsmax, Photoshop/GIMP, and Bethesda Construction Set software (this includes GECK, of course)

-Have a portfolio of past projects to demonstrate competence (don't be thrown by the word 'portfolio', 2-3 projects would be sufficient)

-Be able to see the project through from beginning to end (ie. turn concept art into in-game items)

Though intellectual property rights for the mod in its entirety will remain mine (insofar as they are anyone's but Bethesda's, that is), you will be fully and clearly credited for your work. It should also be noted that this mod is strictly intended for the Nexus and other third-party sites, and will never be uploaded to Steam or in any way used for profit.

Leave a message here or PM me if you are interested in collaborating with this project. More details will be provided to those who apply.

I'm interested. I'm quite experienced with Maya and almost as good with Max, at least as far as modeling goes (using the modifiers to skin is a little tricky because Maya handles rigging and skinning so differently, but it's nothing I can't learn on the fly).

I have not used any of the Creation Kits before, but this seems like a great oportunity to learn!

You can view my personal projects at: www.plasticfrogcg.deviantart.com

All made using a combination of Maya and Photoshop with a little 3D Max and Vue thrown in.

I also know Mudbox if you need it (but I haven't posted any work showing it yet), and Crazy Bump for generating quick normal maps.
