Should be fine, although if you start adding HD mods and enb profiles then you may struggle on ultra.

My setup is:

i5-2500k oc'd 4.3gb

8gb ddr3

Hybrid HDD

Win7 64bit Ultimate

Geforce GTX480 1536mb

I have Skyrim on Ultra, 50ish mods running and enb profile and Skyrim runs fine although it does slow down in dense forest areas sometimes

I have

i7-920

2 GTX 280 sli

I run ultra with some slow down in Markarth, but overall performs very well so you should be good. Of course when all the good texture mods come out who knows.

The game looks phenomenal the way it is now though. Except for some furniture, but those retextures are already out.

I just remembered I was running ultra with just one card before the Nvidia driver update for sli so youre definitely good

I am looking to buy the following to play Skyrim. Do you think I can get ULTRA running with this setup?

Eclipse i7 Desktop

• Intel I7-2600 3.4G 8MB

• 8GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram

• 500GB SATA Hard Drive

• Win 7 Pro 64bit

• Geforce GT 430 1GB

Lol, no one even read the specs. No way with that graphics card. GTX 430 is way too weak. Go from HD6870/GTX 560 upwards. If your budget is getting short, scrap the i7 2600, buy a i5 2500 and get a GTX560 Ti or something like that.

I would upg the gfx and worry less about the rest

I run on ultra with lots of mods and this is my setup:

Intel Core 2 Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHz

6gb DDR2 800MHz single channel

500gb HD 7200rpm

Radeon 6970 2GB GDDR5

runs great. Sometimes drop below 30fps in some parts of markarth and the middle area of riften, otherwise im > 40

Other than the brand new gfx card, my setup is over 4 years old and runs skyrim near perfectly. I did have some issues before, but once TESTV Acceleration layer // SkyBoost came out, it cleared up the areas where my old ass CPU was being the bottleneck
