PaladinRider
The Kid was Swimming in the Air while they were all running down the road playing and for some reason the Latest Patch, disabled any form of Screen Grabbing. I dident had a Save before the Dragon Bug, so now in perma stuck and im seriously far into the Game to go back now. I was at Level 40 when it happend, noe im at Level 64, so i hope the New 1.4 Patch fix these things. I see.I wouldn't be betting that 1.4 will fix your issues now. It will stop the bug from occurring, but since you progressed past it it's not going to be fixed for you. The developers cannot follow every branch and every outcome from everyone's decisions. Like I said, when you have a game-breaking bug like that, you can't possibly expect it to resolve itself. That said, when the CK comes out you can certainly fix it yourself. Even if you take 10-20 minutes of googling you can fix it right now with a console command. I'll give you a head-start: you'll want to find the quest and the next stage, and use "setstage" command. Also, how do you NOT have a save before level 40???? And no, I don't think the latest patch disabled any form of 'screen grabbing', Edited January 17, 2012 by PaladinRider
Rooker75
Contrary to popular belief, bugs can exist even when PaladinRider doesn't personally experience them. I know that's shocking. Just sit comfortably and breathe deeply until it wears off. I'm not sure if the wait for the ck is harder than for the game. The game was ready months before release; they were just waiting for the novelty date of 11/11/11 (and the Christmas spending spree season). We don't even know if the CK has been completed and how far along it is if it's not done.
daventry
I found an earlier save before i and Farkas went out to Dragontooth Canyon, then i hired him as a Companion and the Bug happened again, so basically im still stuck with him. PaladinRider, are you running any Mods.

The dragon never came even after reloading. Since I had 5 mods, I just switched the load order a little bit and then guess what? No bugs. Read my post again. I have experienced bugs. It's what you do with the bugs that's the problem. It's not going to resolve itself. If you're driving your car and you get a flat tire, do you write on the forums complaining to the manufacturer? Do you continue driving expecting the tire to re-inflate itself? Since the game world is so huge and open, yes bugs are bound to happen. I never disputed that like you are implying. It's that for every bug, something must prompt the bug.. If two people have the same bug, they have to have done something similar. Maybe they have the same mods, maybe they killed Person A before Person B and causes a bug. You cannot possibly expect Bethesda to foresee that outcome. I found an earlier save before i and Farkas went out to Dragontooth Canyon, then i hired him as a Companion and the Bug happened again, so basically im still stuck with him. zuggzugg
Ulfric and his General's corpses are still hanging around in the main hall of the Palace of Kings. You just have to get creative with what you do with the corpses and it gets fun all over again. I laid out Ulfric and his General on the long banquet table all the evicted Jarl's dudes spend all day eating at, because I feel that they haven't suffered enough from my cold-hearted betrayal. But first I made a weird old jarl-new jarl hybrid. That was freaky. http://skyrimnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=29012 For a while there I was piling up dead thieves in the forge in Riften, but then I patched and they disappeared. I had quite a collection too. All that hard work for nothing!

PaladinRider
What Load Orders Since you've been a member for a while I can assume you understand the basics of load orders. I'm not going to tell you my load order because you should be able to figure it out yourself.. I'm not trying to be brash. I've never hired Farkas so my mod order may very well produce the same issue, but I doubt it. And it's highly unlikely that we are using the same mods. Another thing; if you've ever had a bug and you're using mods - try disabling all your mods and reload, try to instigate the bug again. If you haven't done this and you're blaming it on the game itself... :psyduck: :psyduck: then you really have to rethink your bug-squashing strategy, and no patch will ever help you. Please try reloading with just vanilla Skyrim, and let me know if it still persists. Edited January 18, 2012 by PaladinRider
