Problem Details
# Please explain the problem you're experiencing in as much detail as possible: whenever I try to download something from Nexus (Skyrim nexus, oblivion nexus, fallout 4 nexus, etc) the download is stopped. If the file is smaller than 10 MB then it's fine, through slow, but if it's larger, then the download is getting slower and slower, then after a minute or so it just stops. After another minute it says "Failed - Network Error", but this problem only occurs if I use the nexus. This also happens in NMM, but it's only worse there, because the download speed is limited to 1024 KB/s so it stops faster. As I said, if it's smaller than 10 MB it's not really a problem. The download is still getting slower, but since it's a smaller file, the download finishes before it gets too slow

Since I seemed to have experienced this when using the CDN server as well:

Problem Details
# Please explain the problem you're experiencing in as much detail as possible:
When starting the download, file hangs on connecting to the server for a bit. Once connected and download starts, download speed runs at a very slow speed (documented at 12-24KB/s).

  • Happened on 15 February at around 2:42AM EST (UTC -05), and again on the same day at 11:26AM and 11:31AM EST (UTC -05).
  • Tried downloading a mod from Skyrim Special Edition and the download went fine. I was able to download the previous two files afterwards without a problem.

Screenshots:

(Sidenote: Could it be that I was connected to a specific server unit with a problem?)

Test download
# We have setup a test download from our CDN. This is a completely random, unusable file that is 500MB in size. Please download this file (linked below) and report back whether you experience the same issue downloading this file as you do using the downloads on the site normally.
Completed the download with no troubles. No speed slow down experienced and no failed download messages.
