ti1706
Alright, I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled Oblivion and the TES CS. Unfortunately, the problem persists. I haven't touched the Oblivion directory (no mods, no OBSE, etc.). I followed the guide as best I could (since it was written for a disc installation and I have Steam). I saved a new game... so, it would appear that the problem isn't my installation or directory. Anyone know what I should test next?
ti1706
*Bump* Surely someone has an idea of what might be causing this... Any input/advice is appreciated.
ti1706
One last bump... ... anyone? No one knows something to try other than a reinstall?
Striker879
If I recall correctly, where I saw mention of that problem was on TES Alliance. It's a free sign-up and from my experience a friendly bunch. Perhaps someone there may have some input.

ti1706
I found it!Turns out the crash is caused by Windows' tablet components under Control Panel -> Programs & Features -> Turn Windows Features On & Off.Uncheck the box next to Tablet PC Components and the crash should be fixed. http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/topic/4450-help-cs-crashes-with-ai-packages/ +Rep to you, Striker, for pointing me towards that forum. Striker879
And right back at you ti1706. Not everyone is considerate enough to report back their solution, and links. Now we're both a bit smarter.
