Request: Lockable Inventory Items to prevent dropping and selling

So, i've dropped some uniques on several occasions, and I'm pretty sure I NPC'd my favorite bow several hours back. With that in mind, i'd like a UI mod to lock items in inventory. This could prevent items from being sold accidentally as well.

Concern: Breaking the enemy disarm skill

Solution: Instead of truly locking the item in inventory, create a toggle that could remove the "drop" option from items of your choice at the UI level. That way, the item could still be knocked from your person, unless the mechanics still don't allow for this behavior. If that's the case then i'm probably screwed :(

 

There are obvious advantages to this, and i'm surprised that it wasn't implemented in vanilla as many games have this option. Hopefully this will be a feature in an upcoming SkyUI update or something of that nature.

Hm... maybe if there's a way to declare items of your choice as "Quest Items". That could work.

 

Unfortunately I think that would still break the disarm shout. I'm not looking for this to make combat easier so that's no good. That's why I was hoping the drop option could be eliminated from the UI for certain items if at all possible. I guess I could just map the drop key to something extravagant so it's not near my fingers.
