cleverspider
I've been on a mission to install and get CBBE to work, and I am nearing the end of the road, I hope, but I still need a little bit of help. I installed CBBE and the KIllerkeo armor replacer to go with it, but I now can't get the game to load. The bethesda game studio loads up, but at the point where that would disappear and go to the main menu, the game window closes, but doesn't give me nay message like, Skyrim is not responding, or Skyrim has crashed. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but this hasn't fixed the problem. Please help.
Algabar
Crashes on Bethesda logo are usually caused by missing master files. This means, a file, that is needed by one or more mods, isn't there. Without a load order, this is just guessing, but anyway: Do you have all the DLCs installed? If I remember right (haven't used CBBE for some time), KillerKeos needs Dawnguard and Dragonborn. So my first idea would be to check, if you got them.If you use NMM, there's an easy way to check, which mod is missing a master: In the "plugins" tab, these mods are marked in orange. cleverspider
I Got Skyrim up and working for a little while, then I had to mess it up by trying body slide. I just chose one of the presets, and Now when I load up the game, It doesn't look like my changes did anything, So when I take off the clothes do see if thats the problem, the game immediately crashes. I checked all my plugins, and all the red ones are unchecked.
twiztedmongoloid
Crashing when removing clothes is usually because you dont have the correct skeleton installed. You REALLY need to read descriptions when installing mods. Almost all of these mods tell you exactly what is required in order for them to work. READ THE DESCRIPTIONS.
