Request: revive/update a couple of mods

I absolutely love the new color from Dark Green Glass Armor. However, this mod doesn't seem to fully function as a retexture: the SI glass armor (such as Cursed Pack Horse Boots, Cursed Insulated Shield) remain the vanilla green color, as well as the Gauntlets of the Manhunter from the DLC Thieve's Den. Additionally, the vanilla Oblivion Beveled Gauntlets also remain the lighter green color, even though spazizoner's new glass icon is used. Speaking of icons, the DLC content glass armor also does not use them. I would assume that DLC weapons also do not use the mod's darker green color and the mod's icons.

Would someone be willing to update this mod so that the new textures would replace the old textures on all vanilla Oblivion and DLC content glass armors?

I PMed the author of Shadowy Hoods a week or so ago, and have not recieved a reply, so I shall put my request to the community in general. I really like the effect from Shadowy Hoods. I also really like the Dark Brotherhood Hood Replacer. Needless to say, the Hood Replacer hood does not have the Shadowy effect. Would someone be willing to apply the Shadowy effect (a "transparent polygon" according to the readme) to the new DB hood? I don't know how difficult that would be, but if it isn't too much of a burden, would it be possible to also apply the shadow effect to the the hoods from the Extra Robe Pack?

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Because Dark Glass armor doesn't replace vanilla texture(if you look at its directory structure, you can see it uses different directory name than vanilla glass textures/meshes), it redirect/reassign textures/meshes of glass equipments. So, if you want to make it replace vanilla glass texture fully, you should change all glass equipments of DLCs/Expansion, or copy the dark glass textures to \data\textures\armor\glass(I can say, latter is easier). Same to Oddbasket glass(though you cannot use two or more replacer at once).

**Although, I prefer make them as separate sets...

As it is, the file structure for the mod looks like this: meshes\DarkGlassArmour\armor\glass\F and ...glass\M as well as meshes\DarkGlassArmour\weapons\glass

I extracted the ZIPped file into a folder darkgreen_glass_armour. So, all I have to do is move the armor and weapons folders out of DarkGlassArmor and into the meshes folder? And the Dark Glass Armour.esp is no longer needed, correct?

Thank you for your help! :D

1. If you have already installed one of my other glass replacements, you will be happy

to know, that they are compatible to each other. You only need to copy the new files

over the old ones. You can also mix the different colours if you like.

1.1 To Make it simple,Copy the "DATA" Directory to your Oblivion Main Directory, then look if there is an "ArchiveInvalidation.TXT", if it's not, copy the file from my Set to your Oblivion Main Directory, if you have it already, go to Point 2

2.IF you Have already a "ArchiveValidation.txt" in your Oblibion Main Directory, open it and ad the following lines to it :

textures/armor/glass/shield.dds

textures/armor/glass/m/boots.dds

textures/armor/glass/m/cuirass.dds

textures/armor/glass/m/gauntlet.dds

textures/armor/glass/m/greaves.dds

textures/armor/glass/m/helmet.dds

textures/armor/glass/f/cuirass.dds

textures/armor/glass/f/greaves.dds

textures/Weapons/glassbattleaxe.dds

textures/Weapons/glassclaymore.dds

textures/Weapons/glassmace.dds

textures/Weapons/glassquiver.dds

Well, turns out that my attempt to make it a retexture didn't really work. I had the meshes and textures folders that I described in my previous post, and I made the whole thing into an OMOD and activated it. However, when I equipped a piece of glass armor, such as a pair of greaves, the part of the body the armor covers became invisible! I deleted the meshes, and tried my butchered version of the mod ingame, but the retexture didn't work.

I recently came across Kalikut's Green Glass Retex. It has an identical/similar shade of green to that of the Dark Green Glass Armour mod, and it works as a retexture for all glass items, including those items from DLC. I'm very satisfied with the mod, I'm glad I stumbled across it.
