Basically, Download the Mod you want, and drag the Esp file, and the Folders it comes with (Folders are: Meshes, Textures, sounds, etc.) To your Data folder.

Install path should be something like this: C:/Programfiles/bethesdasoftworks/Fallout 3/Data

If you have it for steam: C:/Programfiles(May vary, in my case its C:/Games)/steam/steamapps/common/fallout3/data

After that Launch the game and activate them in the Start up Menu. Or of course Download FOMM And enable them that way (HIGHLY Recommended)

After that the mods should show up in game. Enjoy!

PS: Some mods will require Such things as: FOSE, Archive invalidated, And FOMM.

And Mods will not Work on Pirated copies of Any Bethesda games (I am NOT Accusing you of piracy, merely mentioning that)

PSS: Heres a video that should better explain installing mods: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NuBZNWZ6Jc&feature=related

As stated elsewhere in these and other forums, Fallout 3 runs much better if it is loaded on your hard drive in a location outside of the program files. This is especially true if your OS is Vista or Windows 7. Loading outside the program files gets the game out of the UAC.

For loading mods, download and install FOMM, FOSE and B.O.S.S. FOSE is Fallout Script Extender. A lot of mods require this to run properly. FOMM is Fallout Mod Manager. This makes loading and activating mods very simple. B.O.S.S. is Better Obilivion Sorting Software. This make setting up your load order very easy. Make sure you read the read me that comes with each mod. This will make installation and activation very simple.

It is indeed recommended not to install your game in program files, it caused a lot of problems with mods that didnt work for me.. untill i reinstalled it in an other folder and they worked perfectly fine

Other than that it's like the other guys said.. just drag and drop those files in your data folder and tick the corresponding .esp or .esm in your fallout3launcher (or in the modmanager)
