thesapien
I find people on forums tend to throw around the 'T' word far too readily anyway. Every time someone comes up with a dissenting opinion, there are cries of 'TROLL!!'. I dissagree because .... Not trolling You're a ****ing monkey who doesn't know **** Again, not troling, but clearly flaming and just really bad manners Turnips invaded my driveway and took my cat hostage Now that is trolling. Of course, as its so clearly off topic, this post its self could justifiably be considered trolling... I stand by its merit of worth mind you. What it is called when someone just goes around quoting what they think are the best post in case other missed it or just to show support? Anyway, agreed! ModelV
Only draw back of being a werewolf: You level SLIGHTLY slower and you can still get passed it with the Lovers stone. I have heard that you cannot use any kind of magic even when not in Beast Form. Sounds a bit of a major drawback to me. Like the last guy said that isnt true, or its a bug, but it sounds like hogwash to me. Again your only draw back is not getting the rested bonus. @Sky999Aela becomes a much better character once you start doing her werewolf quests after beating the main companion quest. RbtRvltin
Werewolves never spawn except in that one dungeon for the quest. Why? Lol.

Why is it that you and "the last guy" must be right and everyone else talking hogwash? Just because you have not had the same experience, doesn't make it untrue. The person that told me that they have experienced this is an experienced modder who knows what they are doing and tells it like it is. The Wikia also reports a number of other glitches as regards magic, in fact...all kinds of other glitches, period. It's not a bug I'm prepared to risk, as most of my characters use at least some magic.
AnzacTNF
By default you can still use magic while being able to use the beast form/become a werewolf. I think that's what he meant. ;) Just hope that you can correct possible bugs and don't let your actions be guided by that. BTT: Once I've found out that you can cure yourself and 2 other companions I decided to play the whole questline in a row as fast as I could. Only to find out that the "werewolf-counter" still counts even though I cured myself. But I've never turned into a werewolf except for the one scripted time. Dukkah
While we're on the topic, is there any way to increase the duration of Werewolf transformations? For some reason, even though I feed, I still change back after a certain amount of time. It sucks not being able to get through a full night of feeding frenzy because of some invisible timer. :wallbash:

You can get Hircine's Ring though, allows you unlimited transformations per day if you are already a werewolf.

In any events bugs aren part of the official game so you cant blame a rare bug as bad story planning. If your really so worried about the bug then save before the ritual. Problem solved. Micon2
I agree ,so far the companion quests have been more interesting and challenging than the mage line ,but you don't have to limit yourself, I think you can do most, even wander aimlessly all over, forget the roads, get a dog, helps being jumped by ice wraiths etc. You cannot hurry things up, take it easy even forget about advancing the main quest, it won't go away. Learn smithing and enchanting.
893kira
yep a little bit disappointed in this quest because you don't have a chance to destroy this faction as a vampire. For example why the hell dragonborn cannot join the silver hands if you become a vampire. Hunting werewolves sounds cool and also being a vampire. Wish the bethseda would do some underworld parody. Granting as a vampire can join a cause for vampire faction like the silverhands like what they did in Dark Brotherhood you have a chance to destroy this faction. Seriously Bethseda really have greatly overpowered the werewolves.
