Moksha8088
Sad lament. I miss the AutoSave Manager mod for Skyrim SE. Had to go back to an earlier save to find a Prid# for a missing character in a glitching mod and the number of saves was slim pickings. Wish AutoSave and CASM were not dependent on the MCM menu, which is dependent on SkyUI, which is dependent on SKSE64. It creates a circular problem. Anyway, I just thought I would mention this in case any of you would like to chime in with that old wives (young players?) tale of how autosaves and quicksaves cause corruption. gavinjb
Haven't has any problems with corruption, but I have a simple strategy for saves to hope ease the issue of having corrupt saves. When ever I go through a door, start a new quest... I create a new Save, the rest of the time I use F5 to do quick saves at regular intervals after a few hours I do tend to end up with a large amount of saves though. Moksha8088
Utopium, thanks for creating that mod. The option of having up to 10 saves might come in handy some day to fix problems. Gavinjb, I know what you are saying about pre-doorway saves. Got in the habit of doing that back in Fallout New Vegas days with the classic A World of Pain mod. Alisu
My rule of thumb is, I always make new manual save when I quit play session, on occasion especially during longer sessions, I make new save before starting some longer questvarch, from which I might want to backtrack from. Otherwise it's just quicksaves and autisaves. This ensures I have good gradual save trail, but also doesn't let the save amount get that badly out of hand.
