I found a way - remove references about script abSentryBotSelfDestruct in abSentryBotRaceEffect MagicEffect.

Don't forget that ALL robots that are "Legendary" will also explode on death, not just sentry bots bots or assaultrons. Sp there may also be another trigger somewhere for the explosion on death tag.

 

BTW this feature pisses me orf as well, I've lost several possible settlers because of this wonderful "feature" that Bugthesda decided to add. Also had previously friendly/neutral faction members aggro on me because of this stupid idea.

In game, go into VATs (Q key) and target the robot, and see if the segments are still targetable.

 

I think I'm misremembering (sending on a wild goose chase) where conditions in body part data come from, but it only takes a minute to check. =)

I can target them in VATS. But I do not plan to use it in the game. My opinion, VATS in F3/NV/F4 games - this is not serious :sad:

I have already noticed this - 1st normal one (self-destruction is desabled), and 2nd DLC01EncMechSentry01aLegendary (explodes after death):

I don't want to mess with any legendary creatures - never played in the F4 before, so there is enough fun in the game, even without them. So fDiffMultLegendaryChance = 0

 

But now even Protectrons, when you shoot their arms, they do not explode near you and just beginning to escape :smile: Not so fun, but more realistic and not annoying.
