BaronofHe11
Is there a way to equip zombies you raise? I tried to give them armor before raising them but they never equip the armor I give them. Even if i take their starting armor they rather run around naked rather than wear the robe or plate mail I give them.

The only thing you can give to your raised zombies are weapons , that also includes shields and staves but don't waste your time trying to make them equip any armor or jewelry, they will simply ignore those. So yes , you can use them to carry armor for you untill they die or the spell wears off but i wouldn't recommend it because for some reason, i can't always loot them when they turn to ashes so using them as mules is a bit risky. But giving better weapons and shields or staves and bows to your Undead Thralls is definatly a good idea .
BaronofHe11
Yeah I have had problems with accessing ash piles. Now I'm using Thralls that don' t seem to have that problem. If there is a way to fix the quipping armor problem with the CK I will do it. I really need to play barbie with my zombies.

By using the command ( Equipitem ) and then the code of the item. But i don't beleive it's possible to do that with Draugr since you cannot loot a Draugr Deathlord's helmet for example then i'm assuming it's impossible to give him a new one. And i'm not even sure that the ( Equipitem) command would work on raised minions, i just know it works on living NPCs and followers. and don't put any ( ) while typing the command, i only put those ( ) there to kinda highlight the command. Now since i don't know how to determine the code of a certain item that's already in your inventory, i can't help you if you're planing on enchanting stuff to give it to your minions. The only way that i know of to find out the code of a certain item is to use the ( Help) command in the console and then type the name of the item that you wish to know . For example : Help robes 0 typing that in the console will give you the codes of every single robes in the game but only the original ( non enchanted) version of it unless the original version is already enchanted by default , like the thalmor robes which always gives 12 % fortify destruction spells. Now logicaly, i'm assuming that after an item has been enchanted it probably changed the item's code . I could be wrong though so you'll have to test it yourself i guess unless someone else who knows more than i do replies to your post . Good luck Krawll
BaronofHe11
Thanks I'll give Equipitem a try. I'm guessing though it will only work until a cell change though. hmmm unless I take their default outfit away. We shall see. Oh you can get formid by using the showinventory or inv command. BaronofHe11
Success! Equipitem did indeed work on my thralls. I don't have time to figure out all the limitations yet, but I will when I have more time. Note you have to give the thrall the item in order to use equipitem.
