johannej
Hey guys I've been having some difficulty with Companion and Follower mods. Today specifically I tried to run the Sassy Teen follower mod and the same thing happened as usual where it shows intro but before getting to menu it crashes with no error sign or anything. I watched a video explaining that its probably my load order but all he did was explain how to find the corrupted file not fix it. I also checked to make sure I have all the requirements for each mod, still doesn't work. Thanks
snelss0
Sometimes if you have multiple follower mods and don't know how to check conflicts, this could be a problem. Also, if you want to show us your load order, we can do what we can. LOOT has an option in the 3 dot menu to copy it. Just paste it here.
saurusmaximus
Did you try reinstalling the mod?
johannej
I did try to reinstall it multiple times. I actually uninstalled all follower mods and companion mods just to be safe and it still did the error. Also to Snelss0 how can I learn to check for conflicts or find a program to do so? Thanks guys sorry for the lateness in respons
snelss0
Youtube should have some videos on how. Basically you want to highlight all of your mods once in TES5Edit and select a filter for cleaning. The mods that are both underlined and bold red are the ones that have some bad conflicts. Usually it is these that can cause crashes in your game. Does that mean you should uninstall them? No. Just take note of which ones are having problems and then look at the mod page and make sure you don't have any mods that are listed as conflicts. If you have two mods that add generally the same thing and both are underlined and red, it's a good chance they are having issues and you should choose either part of both or one of them and uninstall the other.
