Inventory & Equipment Lags

Basically, whenever I try to change or draw my weapon, armor, use an item (e.g. a potion or sh), activate helmet toggle (which is not part of the inventory but does this aswell), the game lags for about 6-7 seconds. It's really annoying since using items is a vital part of any gameplay. Everything else seems to work fine, Load Order has been sorted by LOOT, a bashed patch is in effect, I ran GenerateFNISForUsers.exe properly, Duel Sheath Redux patcher all the same and most mods with a ton of ITM records had those cleaned aswell (with TESVEdit).

I already had my papyrus.log checked and it is very clean.

1. I would have your load order a bit different. I would definitely have your animations/FNIS/XPMSE at the bottom of your load order like this:
FNIS
[animation mods]
XPMSE
Alternate Start LAL

2. Dance of Death is outdated, I would use Violens instead.
3. I would have SkyUI and any other Utility based mods you have up higher in your load order.
4. I would open your TES5Edit, load all plugins for cleaning or conflict (whichever you want) and see which ones are red, bold, AND underlined. These have some general incompatibility with other mods. It'll help you see what is the problem.
5. I suggest if you haven't taken your skyrim and optimized it for windows 10, that you do so. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=500687692
6. Also take a look at the Crash Fixes mod and do what he suggests.

7. If you make any of these changes, update all of your mods, start a new game, and see if the problem persists. If it does, it may be something corrupt. Hey there and many thanks for your answer!

I followed everything you told me to do, I changed my load order, I run TES5Edit, I uninstalled Dance of Death and so on. I realized what my specific problem is - Skyrim lags after I equip or unequip a piece of armor, but only after it was put on/put off (before the armor rating is calculated). Same for potions, ingredients, consuming food, using helmet toggle (which makes it seem like it is not a problem with the inventory). I had a clean installed done last weekend, I followed every note and tutorial for installing given by the mod author, so I am kinda sad now, that I get this stupid bug though I installed everything fine. Everything else works perfectly - I never have lags apart from these specific ones, I can draw weapons, I can put them down ... this is the only problem I have and I am very frustrated right now, haha

It could perhaps be related to Helmet toggle messing with something. Perhaps uninstall your mods, start a new game, then slowly install each one until you find the culprit.

So your TES5Edit didn't show any errors?

Sorry for necro'ing this, But tell your GF some random stranger from the internet says thanks cause all my issues just got solved by uninstalling Helmet Toggle as well.
