OriginalJ4Y
Ok after I'm assuming a update i then got told f4se is out of date so DL newer version of that but since those things my ingame time sits in one position unless i wait. Even if i fast travel the other side of the map it will say the same time which was directly effecting venders etc. Any idea what could cause this? I don't know if this is related to the same update but i also get a massive fps drop at oberland settlement post update whereas i never had an issue with fps full stop beforehand. Garfield007
I have been noticing the same issue with the time. Also for some reason it takes forever to sleep/wait. I've only noticed this happening since the Texture DLC update. I am also unsure what is causing this.
cynicalmushroom
Same here! I looked everywhere to figure out what is going on. My game is stuck at 4:14am and only moved forward if I wait. I can build and complete quests but the time never changes. At first I thought this was because I downloaded two new mods but after disabling them the problem still persisted. I too did download the newest f4se but this glitch didn't start then; just randomly in the middle of building at Coastal Cottage. I found a previous save that is not affected but I'm losing a good two hours of building :(
joemitchell320
are you all using Place Everywhere? If so, Version 1.16.6.940F4 ver. 1.9.4 supportFixed NPC interaction while extraObjectSelection is turned onAutomatic change (can be disabled) timescale to very low value (0.01, can be changed) while in buld mode, so time basically not change while you building. Can be manually toggled (F11 by default).
cynicalmushroom
I do use Place Everywhere and this seems to make the most sense, but pressing F11 is not fixing the problem even though it tells me that time is 'normal'. I'll exit build mode and time is still stuck only now it's at 9:27am because I started building all over again. Time freezes randomly too; I'll be building for a while and night will pass but then it will get stuck somewhere.
joemitchell320
next time you notice your time has stopped, drop the console and type 'help timescale 3' and see what it reports your current timescale as.
cynicalmushroom
Timescale is at 0.01 all the time; during building and out of no matter if I press F11 and it says it's normal. Visited place everywhere forum and someone posted about having this exact issue. Wonder if I should disable the mod and reinstall it.
joemitchell320
You can change it in the place.ini to disable the automatic timechange. Then, you should be able to change your timescale back to what it was before (usually between 5 and 20, tends to get problematic any lower than 5) should be as easy as changing ;autoTimescaleDisabled = off to autoTimescaleDisabled = on note the semicolon at the beginning is also removed on the lower change. Garfield007
I'm still having the same issue but I am also having other issues with my game and mods, like certain mods are no longer functioning properly. For my game when I try to sleep or rest, its not instant and instead it takes a few minutes for each hour to pass. So I'm just gonna resort to an older save when everything was working properly. I rather do that and have my game/mods work then working on trying to fix something that I don't know what is going on with. cynicalmushroom
I'm a novice with editing this stuff. I'm in place.ini and changed the line of text so everything looks like this:[main];togglable = 0;wheelRotation = off;timeoutFrozen = off;snapDisabled = off;groundDisabled = off;outlineDisabled = off;extraOutlineEnabled = offautoTimescaleDisabled = on;buildTimescale = 0.01 You then said I could change my timescale back to what before (which was 20) so do I alter the last line? Erase 0.01 and put 20?If I was to put 15 or 10 I assume time would go by slower, right? Cause that's something I have wanted as day/night goes by way too fast in that game.
