The Dreaded Dark Face Issue

Hi,

 

I have started having an issue with Irileth having a dark face this evening to start with I thought the issue could be due to a Mod I have installed today, but after removing all the Mods I have installed I am still having the same issue. I have even tried disabling the mods that make changes to the character faces (QD Characters & WICO) but no luck. In the past after having this issue the only solution I have found is to remove the effected mods and start a new game (not an issue currently as trying to setup all the mods I want for my play through) but this time this has not resolved the issue, I have even updated MO2 to the latest version 2.0.8.3

 

Anyone with any ideas?

Oh man, i feel you.

 

I had this bug come out of nowhere too, after 100's hours.

More than once.

 

Couldnt find a fix.

I found the issue over the weekend (took several hours of remove mod, run game go to Irileth...) the issue was a conflict between Apachii and Katnerd's Followers and NPC's in the end I removed the later.

 

I have also seen on a Forum post some where that Meshes for characters that are different sizes can cause the same problem and the only solution for this seems to be to start a new game (apparently this only effects NPC's you haven't met yet) and is only caused if you change/add Mods halfway through a playthrough (one of the reasons I spend a while setting up my mods before I start a game)
