Madison2G
So I got some money to spend on my computer set up, I could invest into a 1920x1080 monitor. But I also have 3/4 slots open for more RAM, I believe I can get up to 24GBs.My CPU is AMD FX 8350My GPU is Shappire Nitro R9 390. DirectX 12.Thought on what I should invest into first?
DoctorKaizeld
how much RAM do you have currently? if you have 8-16 then go for the monitor, if you're below that go for the RAM.
L3s7ing
Like already said, if you're not into special tasks like heavy video/photo editing or have to handle software with extreme needs you won't need 24GB of ram.For normal use and gaming you're completely fine with a max. of 16GB... counting back my max use was around 12GB while playing Rainbow Six Siege, but most games don't even use half of that.A full hd monitor on the other hand is the current standard and your gpu is more than capable of running it.
