another poor console user seeking for load order help.

Recommended Posts

Hello any and everyone who happens to peruse this thread, I come asking for wisdom and seeking guidance

I will provide a list of mod I have installed, orderd to certain recommendations I have found on the web, but alas, to no avail, have I been able to correct the one main problem I'm having.

If I am anywhere near trinity tower, postal square, swan pond or outside of good neighbor, anywhere within the areas of those places my game will eventually studder and freeze creating that robotic grinding noise. If anyone would be so kind as to give my mod list a look over and see what could potentially be causing it I would be greatly appreciated. I have no troubles anywhere else in the game just around those areas.

That is my load order to a T

It seems every where I look for answers info is contradictory, top to bottom, bottom to top, companions on bottom companions on top blah blah blah. I was hoping someone with load order experience or some kind of illuminating knowledge could grace me with their guidance. Please and thank you.

1. - Always read descriptions and comments of mods. Descriptions so that you know what the mod does and how it does it. The comments to see if there are any issues. I personally always wait for users to provide feedback before I download something.

2. - I can't help you with the entire load order because I have no idea what the majority of those mods do, but I'd place Armorsmith Extended and its patches right after AWKCR. I have it that way all the time and I never had any issues.

3. - Crashing/freezing can be caused by a infinite amount of things. Textures which are too big for consoles or meshes which aren't made properly or missing material files or simply badly made ESP mod. It depends on what you installed.

Whenever I have an issue, I do a process of elimination. I disable mods in groups of 10, then 5, then 1 until I see which mod is causing the issue. Process of elimination is the only way to find the problematic mod.

It's time consuming, but yes, this is the best approach. Often the mod causing the problems is the last one you would expect.
