Xenobuzz
Greetings, all! I'm so thrilled with all the new mods I've got running now. They're made the Wasteland a whole new world to explore, and I want more! :D So far, I'm using these mods for hi-res and/or more varied textures: NMC's Performance PackMarts' Mutant ModWhat's Your BrandBooks DebunkedFallout - RemasteredXepha's Dynamic WeatherDC Interiors My system specs are as follows: Vista Premium SP2Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66 Ghz4 Gb RAM32-bit OSATI Radeon 4800 series NMC's Performance Pack is making my ATI sweat a little bit, and I get a slight bit of framerate drop when running in some areas, but it's not significant. What I'm looking for is a mod for something small, like perhaps some better weapons textures or something. I'd love to use Project Beauty, but that would conflict with Mart's Mutant Mod. One other thing I've noticed: even with all the graphic settings maxed, some objects are not drawn until I am within a certain distance. Is this a game limitation, or a hardware limitation? Are there any you would recommend? Dave S.
M48A5
For texture packs you can go here: www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/cat.php?id=66. There are currently 1495 files in that catagory. Also, did you change the view distance in the graphic settings in FOMM. In the game as in real life, you have a limited depth of field. As you get closer to an object, you will be able to see more details.

OMG, there's almost 150 pages of textures! I need a week off from work just to browse all the choices! Every Fade meter is maxed to the right except for Specularity Fade. That has the Override box ticked and set at 20 as I am running Ultra High detail. Dave S.
