Slaiv
I forgot to say sum more stuff some will be repetaed tho:Mods: The MOD chipUpdates: The MOD chipExpansions: What do you call Game of the Year edition?Construction Set: Good point.Have as many saved games as you want: You don't call 50000+ blcoks as much as you want? my friends used 100000 and it still says 50000+ left! Your argument is invalid, goodnight. First of all, the MOD chip can really screw up your XBox if not carefully worked with/installed, and even then it can screw it. If that happens, you're really screwed, because it voids the warranty when you open the case. Second, the GOTY edition only includes some of the stuff from the expansions, not the entire expansions. And yet another "my friend" story. I've used approximately 50,000 [rounded up] blocks on my XBox, and it says 42,000 left. so it has about 90,000, not over 150,000. Let's talk specs. The Xbox has an 8 GB Hard Disk (Western Digital, 5400 RPM). My pc has a 120 Gigabyte [GB] Hard Drive from Western Digital. The XBox has a An Intel 733MHz processor, "the most powerful CPU of any console." My PC has an AMD Athlon 2400+, which has 2.43 GHz, which is 2,430 MHz. The XBox has a custom designed NVidia GPU [Graphics processing unit]. My Sapphire/Atlantis ATI Radeon 256MB 9600 Pro completely owns that. The frontside Bus on the Xbox is 133 MHz. My PC has 333. Finally, the max resolution for an xbox is 1920 x 1080. For this, you MUST have an HDTV, which most of us don't have. Note: My PC is custom built by myself, so it is better than a pre-built PC. But nearly any PC you buy these days has waaaaay better specs than the XBox. Controllers? You can buy them for pc. Most cost less than an Xbox controller. Plus, PC's have EVERYTHING YOU EVER NEED. The internet [browsers], MS Word, keyboard, etc.....Can an XBOX do any of these things? no.
ErisSharp
bah, I like em both, but I voted XBOX, its because of the controlers! Its SOOO much easier to play on the XBOX! As for the MODs, aparentley you can get some sort of MOD chip to enable MODs on the XBOX, as I said before, it sounds way to unpheasable, but I do believe it, I just don't understand how it's done... meh... Go XBOX!MOD Chips are illegal I think where I Live..... <_< I still got one and it is alright if you know what your doing and you use if for back up/testing use. but if you do find a morrowind mod for the xbox it would be really hard to add in I cant thing of away to do it but I dont know... Darkh Templar
PC all the way! The Xbox doesn't have TESCS, doesn't have the console, no mods can be installed! When you accidentaly kill an NPC you shouldn't have, you can just restore him using the console. Xbox players have to start a new game. Imagine the frustration of having to play all over again because you felt so high and migthy to go and kill Vivec, then saved afterwards? With the console, us PC players can do what ever the hell we went, whilst Box users are very limited in this way.
All
Just a question but shouldn't this be under the debate page?
Arkayan
Well it appears that most people chose PC & I tend to agree with the masses. The TES editor makes for a powerful application & definatly adds to the gamming experience & because of this i think that PC is best by far. ohGr
Ok, so lets assume that you can hack the xbox and get the exact same game. Now its a choice between poor graphics and terrible controls, or good graphics, good controls, and easy editing. Concession accepted. Xbox is clearly inferior. Are you kidding me?! In saying poor graphics your insulting Morrowind all together! They're EXCATLEY the same in the graphics section! I couldnt be alone in this battle! Sure a computer would rock an XBOX anyday of the week! But not in this perticular game! Theyre excatley the same! What are you people thinking?! WHAT! if you look at any game ported from x-box to pc or any other console, their always better on pc, morrowind, better water/textures/draw distance/resolutoin/ construction kit. more examples Halo, it may look the same, but linking up 4 x-boxes for 16 player death match just isnt fun, especially with the tiny screens, playing LAN is so much fun BloodRayne - better pixel shaded water (actually reflects in real time), better textures, better sound quality, better everything. oh yeah, for morrowind on x-box, the sound is a much worse quality than the wav's on the pc, even with dolby surround, it still sounds horrible, especially the speech. EDIT there is one tiny unnoticeable advantage the x-box has, its video card, the N-Force 2 (thats what is basically is...a intergrated video card), although, this one as specifically designed for no performance loss with Anti Aliasing on, which is why some games tell it to go on 2x, some 4x, and some 4xs, morrowind only goes on 2x, and after some testing on my friends geforce fx5200 go, it runs horrible with 4x, it skips, and the frame rate wont sit still, but it runs like a dream at 800x600 with everything all the way up... saldrex
I personaly prefer the xbox version. I like it better because on the xbox people are not cheatiing for weapon and stats all the time. Also i believe thet the xbox has an 80GB hard drive. I have over 40 muxic cd's put on it plus hundreds of saves and it still says 50,000+.
Stormscape
it's 8gb, 20gb at most.40 music CD's is not much...hundreds of saves is less than 400mb...

Also i believe thet the xbox has an 80GB hard drive. I have over 40 muxic cd's put on it plus hundreds of saves and it still says 50,000+. ok, blocks are another word for something much less than megabytes, the x-box is no war near 80gig, mine is, because its 7,200 RPM and i decided to replace mine, and it runs must faster now, x-box copies music files at 96hz (or something like that), which is horrible quality, in my opinion, so i modded mine to copy at 128, now it sounds better, at the cost of not being able to play online. so i changed it back, but, the x-box is clearly no way near as good as anyones computer, it lags in morrowind, the draw distance is half way up, shadows lag the x-box game, so they let you turn it off, face it, its not good on x-box, and this cheating stuff you speak of is crap, you can still cheat on x-box, only not as easily, its up to the user not to cheat, its common sence not to cheat, unless your my brother, its a whole different story Ps last night, i got the new One Must Fall off my friend, YOU CANT UPGRADE YOUR DAMN ROBOT...it sucks because of that :(
Multi
PC, for reasons stated numerous times by other people. I thought that the PC version was easier to get absorbed into. I do disagree about the Xbox's controller being bad, though.Halo, it may look the same, but linking up 4 x-boxes for 16 player death match just isnt fun, especially with the tiny screens, playing LAN is so much funI can't agree about Xbox system link being boring, yet have to say that playing over a LAN connection with PCs is great.
