Zemoco10
I was wondering that if Boss and Loot say that a mods need cleaning, that is it safe to clean that mod in general? There aren't cases were it isn't recommended? Also, what about cleaning mods that don't show up in BOSS ( as in BOSS doesn't give a warning of deleted refereces or ITM). I know not to clean mods that say "Don't clean, dirty edits needed to function", but what about mods with no indication of that? Acerac
It's always safe and recommended to clean UDRs. It is usually safe to clean ITMs unless they are intentional, which is the case for patches and mods like Supreme Magicka and OOO. You don't want to clean an intentional ITM. But if BOSS or LOOT is recommending to clean a mod then it is most likely safe to clean it.
Oblivionaddicted
I agree, and keep a back-up in case something goes wrong.
