mwhenry16
After coming back to Skyrim, again, I decided to Vanilla install it and try Enderal. However, I cannot get past "press Launcher" (which is indeed in the main, not data, Skyrim folder. I have downloaded it several times, ran as administrator, and added it to Win 10 Defender OK list,, and had Steam running. When pressed, the launcher initiates the hourglass and then....nothing, ever. Most of the launcher issues people have on the AI, Reddit, or other sites have to do with launcher issues after the launcher fully starts. In this case it never starts. Any ideas or solutions? WastelandAssassin
I do remember such problems occurring for people , but the only thing I recall causing them was if you've installed Skyrim in the wrong foldermake sure that your Skyrim's installation path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrimotherwise , it won't work , or at least that's what I recallif not , make sure that Skyrim was installed properly please do tell if you've managed to solve this problem as I mentioned , or if it's still happening

I have a separate drive for each game. Since I do have backups of my games and Skyrim isn't too long to install, I suppose I could do a C install, and then revert back to the Skyrim drive of my choice. Or I could have 2 installs? But I've never done that, if it's possible. Well, after trying the alphabet soup of what to do, I had to have it on the C drive. Just when I got used to not doing so.
