NoAardvarksAllowed
What mods are you using? I had that happen to some random people in the game, and the cause was a mod I used that made all NPCs killable. Perraine
Why is this a bad thing? Admittedly she's not very powerful, but she is kinda hawt in that no nonsense, tough girl way, good with a bow too, so she can bring home dinner ... And you can shack up in Breezehome with multiple Aela's and multiple Lydia's ... Sounds like fun!

I have like 200 installed and know what bugs most of them cause. :P Just post a list of which ones you're running. Not that what's happenin to u is a bad thing :D
GonKilluminati
Did you ever make her appear next to you, using the console? Yes, I did something like that with a mod. Pressing a button made my companion appear next to me, come to think of it, I pressed the button like 4 times.....lollol
jet4571
Then that mod used placeatme rather than the moveto command and created clones. open the console and check each ones ID number and you will notice the clones do not match the default ID. you can then disable all the clones if you like. I didnt use any placeatme's with him, and every here and there i see him get killed by an orc, only to pop up again in some random spot.
Ganon2020
The Louis Letrush bug is different. I own a copy of the game on PS3 and PC, and I saw Louis multiplying on the PS3, which has no console commands, so yeah, game bug. The placeatme console command however, is known for duplicating "named" NPC's.
jet4571
Lous is a game bug. I have 6 of him in my current game. placeatme does not move or affect the original, never has. is what it does is makes a clone and places it at your location. change the 1 to 25 and you will have 25 clones. Try it on a random named NPC like Ysolda in Whiterun. Find her wandering around the market someday go down to Breezehome and type: player.placeatme 13bab 25 then walk back to the market and you will see the original Ysolda still happily hanging out at the market and probably the 25 clones joining her there. If you do 13bab.moveto player (or was it refid for move? 1A69A) she will be warped to your location.
