So, after my game installed on the wrong drive of my computer, I tried to move my files to another one.

It broke my game and nothing seemed to work after that so I uninstalled everything but my saved games. (this includes uninstalling steam)

Then reinstalling everything. I've done this twice now.

After going through the basic set up for modding that's in the nexus wiki. I install mods and things seem to be working with no error codes, and after installing then using

LOOT for my load order, I launch my game.

But it seems that my mods aren't working at all or only partially doing so.

example being.

These are the mods that I have installed.

DEF_UI

Full Dialogue Interface

LooksMenu

Satellite World Map

Valdacil's Item Sorting

Zoom-out Extended for World and Local Maps

AWKCR

Settlement keywords expanded

Any help would be really appreciated!

If your using the exact same mods I'm not sure why loot would give u a different load order. AWKCR needs to go higher in your load order- right below the master files. It sounds like a load order issue. Loot is not perfect. :smile:

  • 2 months later...

LOOT by itself has caused issues with my load order a few times. I used the LOOT feature of ModOrganizer and it was a little more tolerable, but still far from perfect.

Put AWKCR below masters as stated and SKE right along side that. As far as DEF_UI and VIS, I suggest putting those below the 2 KW mods.

Example:

Fallout4.esm

<--DLC ESMs in released order-->

<--Other ESMs-->

AWKCR

SKE

DEF_UI

VIS

LooksMenu

<---Other Plugins--->

SCRAP Mods like Spring Cleaning or Scrap Everything (always last)
