JimboUK
Bootcamp is the only way im aware of, anyway why would they make a mac version when you need Windows to actually play the game?
Delikatessen
You can buy a copy of Windows XP (Home editions are roughly 70USD now) and dual boot it with Mac. And how are you playing it on Mac? I haven't seen anything about a port for it on Steam. Unless you're running it through a compatibility layer.
Deleted3201807User
BUMP He is probably using wineskin. Works like a gem. Anyway I would be interested in a ported copy also. Crossover and Darwine don't seem to work.

uberlux
I have fallout new vegas working on my mac. I also have the geck and FOMM working. My mac is 2gb ram intel duo core and about 6 years old.as mich mentioned above, yes i use wineskin. I will admit i had to use a pirated form of new vegas to operate. However, i have on xbox 360 purchased fallout new vegas and all DLC so, i guess this is justified. I hope. you probably expect because of the machine i run it off is real, bad. It isn't too bad, definitely playable, just if your using an old computer like mine, turn the settings down or it will start crashing, like any pc would. Oh also i have about 48 mods running on mine. the way you get this working on mac is you use a form of free ware called wineskin/wine/winery. this is basically a mac application that can read windows exe files, which is the main reason pc games dont work on mac. Macs cant natively read .exe files so you get programs like wineskin to for you. Using wineskin on fallout new vegas takes a lot of practise. it took me about 4 full days before i could figure out how to get it working, so it depends how badly you want it i guess. If you find good tutorials then it shouldnt be too hard. A problem i encountered was updating my fonv. basically you cant get this as a set file... legally. UNLESS, you have a windows copy of the game and just transfer your data folder over, then you would be fine. The folder structures for fonv are nearly identical to pc. Infact, i learnt how to mod fonv by watching pc tutorials. So for those of you who say "man, macs are SO different!" when you narrow it down, they have very similar guts. Im currently learning how to use the GECK. i need a way to load multiple master files, or if anyone knows how to save a esm as an esp? Anyway. i hope i have given you that spark of hope to get new vegas on your mac.If anyone has questions about all of this, ill happily answer messages. And i do not support pirating! i did it only because there was no current alternative and that i had already purchased the game, on xbox, please forgive me bethesda  Edit: i found out how to load multiple masters.
