Good idea for new characters

I am pretty sure most people know about the sword of the white woe. In the early versions u could take it and run to the thives guild, drop your money and get your price of for free(might not of known that :P ). In the new version you can't do that so i have a 100% fool proof way of getting it without getting your crime reported. By the way you don't need any item or nay skill in sneak, my guy had nothing but his clothes and 5 sneak and i got it.

Ok go to the tower with the sword of the white woe in balmora first off. Run up the gaurd and make him turn directly away from the sword. after he stops being able to turn go behind and jump up onto the lower vase and press sneak and take the sword on top of the dresser and viola, free sword. I talked the guard while on the vase and he says "Whoose there?" and the goodbye under it.

So there you have it, if you allready know this then oh well but at least for the people that don't it should help cause if you know the way how to get the most out of exspensive items then you'll get a lot of money for the beginning or a pretty good sword for the beginning. And if this don't work you must be doind it wrond cause i have done this like 15 times and worked every time :D

Hey i found it in suran like u said but since my guy had 5 sneak i couldn'r get it becuase of 2 things. 1 it's under a bed not on the dresser 2 there isn't any vase things. i tried and tried but to now avail. i thought to myself "if only he wasn't there" so i was going to leave but then i had a brilliant idea. I grabbed a torch which of course was reported and he chased me so i led him down the tower and payed of my 5 gold then whie he walked i ran back up grabbed the sword and walked out got the one in balmora without a hitch and bang, 2 swords of the white woe. I'm a sneaky son-of-a-gun eh?? :P  :P

Well I suppose a Moderator shouldn't take it off topic but - since the thread is about getting swords easily to sell it isn't quite. It is often useful to explore tops and bottoms of staircases in the Imperial Forts. The harder they are to reach, the better the chance of finding valuable loot. They can be a bit maze-like so it's necessary to make sure you go into and out of every door.

On last week-end's foray my close-to-beginner character got hold of a glass claymore worth 32000. Sadly I can't remember where (possibly Ebonheart, possibly Tel Branora).

this is propably common knowledge, but did you know that the guard towers in ald'ruhn hold several crates filled with complete bonemold armor sets? And as the guards patrol between the two floors, just wait for him to get to the other floor and grab as much as you can carry!

yeah, i know, it's even more off topic. but don't blame me. Malchik started it... :)
