Shulgin24
I was trying to get used to how to use BodySlide and appearently, I did something very wrong because all female bodys got replaced with strange looking bodies, what seemed to be a texture issue, because they all had the vanilla texture again and not the ones I had installed. But, after uninstalling every mod and the game itself, deleting all leftover files and reinstalling only the game and the body replacer (as well as its dependencies, of course), my character had the vanilla body again.Even using a cleaned save from back when everything was working didn't change a thing. So I guessed, maybe the problem lied within my replacer, but no, regardless of which replacer I installed, I ended up with the vanilla body again and I really have no f*#@ing idea, what the problem is.Male bodies by the way worked perfectly the whole time, all of them were looking the way they were supposed to. Algabar
What exactly did you install? Having only bodyslide isn't enough. If you want CBBE body, you need to install CBBE too. If you want UUNP body, you will get the meshes with bodyslide (if you chose the UUNP option in the installer), but you will still need a UUNP compatible texture. From what you wrote, I suppose that you didn't install textures properly. Neither CBBE nor UUNP will work with the vanilla textures, so you will get strange looking, distorted textures. BTW, in any case there's no need to reinstall the whole game just because something went wrong with a body replacer. Basically, they just do that: Replace vanilla body meshes and textures with something else. If you uninstall a body replacer, everything should be back to normal again. Since textures and meshes aren't stored in save games, changing them shouldn't affect your save games either.

And now, as I said, nothing is working. So if the problem should really be the textures, where do I get those textures?I always thought them to be included in the replacer mods, since they had been working without any problems up until now. MRELEKTRIK
Open up BodySlide and click on settings. In the general section check that BSA textures is marked as this will search for the textures you are using for your body, then click ok. If the body texture you are using has successfully overwritten the CBBE base texture it should show up in the preview. I would also click on the preview button and make sure you see the textures you are using are present. When using BodySlide only select the body you are using from the Outfit/Body drop down menu(for me I am using HDT so I will only select CBBE Body HDT.) Then you can select a preset close to the build you are looking for and create one to your liking and select build. You can save your sliders adjustments as an entirely new preset by selecting save as. If you are batch building bodies that may be some of the problem. They could be overwriting each other. I would recommend using the group manager and create a group just for the body you are using, then create another group just for the outfits you are using. Check out this video by Gopher for help on setting up and using bodyslide . If you are still having issues with the textures I would strongly recommend going onto Caliente's BodySlide page and asking the mod author for help as they will be able to give you far more help then I can. I hope what I have suggested can help and that your problem gets figured out soon. Edit: Sorry. I edited this because I forgot how to hide stuff. MRELEKTRIK
What texture are you using? I have noticed it with redguards as well on with some texture replacers when it is very dark or in dimly lit interiors. The Texture Blender by caliente might help but follow the instructions provided with it very carefully.
