  1. Hey guys. I am wondering if it is possible to make a personal collection for games. I have my games modded the way I want and was wondering if there is a way to save the setup the way I have it in case I ever had to start over like if I got a new computer or something like that. This way I could just have a quick and easy way to get my game back up and running the way I had it originally setup. If this isn't the case then this is honestly a feature I would like to suggest. A way to make a collection for personal use. Even if it was something local on your system, like getting all the mods setup with their links to nexus or external, or even having it just package all your mods up with their install data so you could back it up to an external drive or something.
  2. Are you only batch building? If so make sure that the hdt body is part of the group. Try building the body seperately on its own. Hmm. When I have time I will try making a profile to investigate your problem and see if it shows up for me when installing the leyenda body. That body is for UNP, I don't know if you are using cbbe, but I think the bodyslide presets should still show up regardless. Again if you continue having issues I would highly recommend visiting the bodyslide discord server.
  3. Did you try setting the sliders on both the low weight and high weight?
  4. When you install Armor Mods you have to make sure you install the bodyslide meshes for them as well. Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide HDT has the options in the installer to install the needed bodyslide files. Apply your slider presets to both the low and high weight sliders. Your character might not be affected by bodyslide if you are a low weight character and don't change those sliders as well. HDT-PE requires XPMSE to work. Install the body you want(cbbe/unp) and make to select any hdt options, install xpmse, install hdt-pe. Select the hdt body in bodyslide, then build your preset. Load in to your game and check if it is working(jump around or something to see if your butt and breasts move.) Unless specifically stated by the mod author, don't let other stuff overwrite xpmse. For example; If you use sos, install that first and then install xpmse and select the sos option during install. Then in vortex set xpmse to win that conflict and load after sos. If you are using a mod that alters the hdt xml files make sure those win those conflicts for their files to take effect. Example, hereode leyenda's all in one cbbe hdt body should win the conflict and load after hdt-pe.
  5. Zapping clothing items is a part of Bodyslide that allows you to remove or "zap" certain clothing elements, like pauldrons or chest pieces. My problem was actually because my character was low weight and i didn't also make my changes to the low weight sliders in bodyslide. It was a noob mistake. It's been a while since I modded. What do you mean zapped clothing elements. I'm having this problem where when i update body slide nothing in the game changes. Ive been trying to get HDT to work. And i suspect body slide not letting me select the HDT body is the issue. How do i save them so they show up in the game? Thanks. To get HDT to work you have to follow a pretty specific install order. Install your body. CBBE or UNP or whatever, then install XPMSE; you should get the most up to date version you can. Then you can install the HDT-PE. After that you can go into bodyslide and select the hdt body. If it is not in your options make sure you selected cbbe hdt bodyslide meshes when you installed bodyslide and or any of you bodies. If you don't have it already i would make sure you have skse and skyui as well. This way when you install xpmse you can see if it is working properly by going into its mcm menu. If you want physics with collisions I would recommend getting HeroedeLeyenda's cbbe body. Though it is not on nexus. You would install that after everything else including it's dependencies. A good way to test it is to get something like the sexy idle animation and running fnis then going in game to see if it is working. Even if you don't want the more adult features of the leyenda body, it still has the best looking physics(in my opinion.) Also if you need more help because I may not be able to answer all you questions on bodyslide; You can go to their discord and they are always willing to lend a hand. I think it is listed on the posts section of the bodyslide mod page.
  6. I tried unstalling the mod and disabling the plugin, I have no idea what to do. I tried reinstalling the mod. Everything I can think of. It lists fome folders and file where it sees the entries but I have no idea what to do with them.
  7. I keep getting this message when trying to sort my plugins. More than one entry exists for "vivid landscapes.esp"
  8. Yeah. I try to do the same. Windows does tend to do that. It's probably only going to get worse. Haha. That's just how Microsoft is now days.
  9. Do you have steam installed on your c drive? Just curious if it might be a problem in where the game is being initialized from.
  10. It even apparently happens on sse. I was reading not everyone is affected by it. But i was doing some research and found that it does afflict many people. I'm not really sure why it happens. Some people have said it's an issue with direct x, or a corrupted sound.bsa file. I tried getting steam to replace the bsa file, and reinstalled dx10, but alas, nothing. There doesn't seem to be a fix for those who encounter it and not much in the way of information on what causes it.
  11. I was experiencing a bug where basically all player character audio was gone. Footsteps, weapon noise(swings, sheathing,) player vocal noises, magic, shouts; They were all not present in the game. I tried reinstalling but it didn't help. I read that it is caused by having Skyrim installed on a separate drive from the main os drive. So I installed skyrim onto my main drive and all my audio came back.
  12. Actually I have another question. Would I be able to leave my downloaded mods in there old folder on the separate drive?
  13. Just wanted to make sure. Thank god. I really didn't want to have to go through installing that again as well. Do you per chance know why I was getting that audio bug and if there is a potential fix for it? I see it all over the web but it doesn't seem like everyone gets it or that there is a way to fix it for those affected.
  14. Maybe try uninstalling again, then go to the folder where dragon age would normally be located. Then delete that folder. Just to make sure you get rid of all potential leftovers. This way steam or whatever launcher you are using will install all fresh files. My knowledge of Dragon Age is limited, but that has helped with other games for me.
  15. Can I have Vortex installed on a different drive but have the mods download and deployment folders on the same drive as my game and have it still work correctly. I had to install Skyrim on to my os drive because I hade an audio bug from it being installed on a seperate drive that I did not know how to fix, but moving to the os drive did seem to work.
  16. So I just uninstalled all my mods and started a fresh Skyrim and realized that sounds are missing just in the base game. What causes this cause it is the first time I have ever experienced it.
  17. I am having an issue with my sounds no longer being present and I can't for the life of me figure out where the problem lies. Weapon, magic, footsteps, collison and impact sounds are all missing. If anyone can see a problem in my load order that might be the culprit that would be appreciated otherwise I will just start from scratch again and see when and where it happens.
  18. Yeah, and Tannin is amazing for all his work. Still some of the people I have talked to who have used the MO's still seem to not like and or struggle with Vortex. I have found it to be a joy to use so far. I just thought it would be a good suggestion. I have found that the discords can often be extremely useful for finding and or offering help when needed.
  19. Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I missed a step. Ha. I have done that a lot today trying to mod. Forgot to hit install then set the mod type. Whoops.
  20. I have seen a lot of Mod Authors, and programming teams start to do this. I think it would be a fantastic idea to start one of these so that people can go in and get help from team members when they're free and users who have become more adept in the understanding, use and functions of Vortex. I can see how this Mod Manager can seem almost more overwhelming than user friendly at first. People who haven't used Mod Organizer or NMM will likely be overwhelmed even with the knowledge base and Gopher Tutorials provided. Even if they have used those it can still be overwhelming and seem convoluted to those users.
  21. I was getting ready to install the ENB files via Vortex and was following along with the instructions but noticed when I double click on the file before installation I could not set it's mod type. Was this a feature that was removed? Can ENB's still be handled by Vortex? If so how will I ensure that the contents of the wrapper version are installed into their proper directories?
  22. Vortex doesn't seem to register the changes made to the femalebody.nifs. When I zapped clothing elemnts to my armor for example it registered those changes and allowed me to permanently save them. But it doesn't seem to register those changes with bodyslide and allow those to be saved in the same way.
  23. They are pointed to right directories and exe files. It launches fine. It's just no effects are taking place when I actually build the bodies to the skyrim data folder.
  24. Which mod should win the conflict when using bodyslide or does that really matter since it is changing the files. Also it is not recognizing the changes the way it does with FNIS and allowing me to save the changes. This on Skyrim LE also, not SSE.
  25. Yup, it's pointed to the skyrim data path. \Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\
