sheath / drawn weapon size difference?

Hi, I just noticed that in my game, there is a nasty size difference between drawn and sheathed weapons.

I noticed this when watching lydia draw/sheath an ebony war axe.

When the weapon is on a characters body (sheathed), it become larger.

As soon as the weapon is drawn, there is a rather abrupt size change that makes the weapon held on hand smaller. It seems to me that he scale is about 1.2 : 1, rather obvious.

I want to ask if you have noticed this or it is my game broken by too many mods?

Thanks!

No your game isn't broken and i believe i have an answer for you. I only discovered it while working on a larger arrow mod. The reason you're noticing the larger sized weapon (when it's sheathed) is because it is the weapon's actual size and also the size it would be for the males. When female's draw their weapons they are scaled down in size by a tiny percentage. The effect can be quite jarring if you happen to notice it and especially for my needs with my arrow mod, the arrow positions are way off between males and females. Females have smaller arrows because of the scaling and the males have extra long arrows. It's really crazy. Anyway, i hope this helps.

P.S. i only found your post because i was looking for a solution to stop the scaling between genders... at least for bows and arrows.
